Papers should be prepared (preferred in English)
using LaTeX and LNCS style. LateX users should get the LNCS class file
llncs.cls. llncs.doc (a TEX file)
is the documentation of the class, here you can find detailed instructions showing how the
macro package works. llncs.dvi is the resulting DVI file
of llncs.doc to enable you to print out the documentation directly. You can get
the LaTeX2e source file of the "Authors' Instructions", which may
serve as a further sample input. You can download it as a ZIP archive
or you can download the TEX file for the text and the
EPS file for the figure separately. (You can also get
this class in http://www.springer.de/comp/lncs/authors.html).
For papers in Portuguese, authors must also download the following files: llncsbr.sty (modifications for the llncs.cls),
typeinstbr.tex (example file).
We do not encourage the use of MS Word, particularly as the layout of the pages (the position
of figures and paragraphs) can change from printout
to printout. Having said this, the template files sv-lncs.dot
(for use with PC systems) or sv-lncs (for use with Macintosh systems)
help MS Word users to prepare their camera-ready manuscripts .
Please read the documentation of the template sv-lncs.doc carefully.
typeinst.doc, is an example input. (These files can also be downloaded in
http://www.springer.de/comp/lncs/authors.html). Please note the
submitted paper should have no page numbers.
