XVI Latin-American Master's Thesis Contest (CLTM 2009)

- Thesis Awards

We are pleased to announce the three winning the Master's Thesis at Concurso Latinoamericano de Tesis de Maestría (CLTM). The work was very difficult due to large number of dissertations of very good academic quality that were sent, and their thematic variety that make more difficult the comparison between work in different areas of knowledge. It is the desire of the Evaluator Committee that all students, regardless of having received the award, continue doing good work and have very successful both in their academic or professional career.

The three winning Master’s Thesis are:

FIRST PRIZE: Gonzalo Valdes (Universidad Tecnica Federico Santa Maria, Chile)
"Modelo de Madurez y Capacidad de Implementacion de Gobierno Electronico en Instituciones Publicas"

SECOND PRIZE: Andre Cire (Universidad de Campinas, Brasil)
"Modelos Computacionais para o Escalonamento de Tarefas em Dutos"

THIRD PRIZE: Ricardo Terra (PUC Minas, Brasil)
"A Dependency Constraint Language to Manage Object-Oriented Software Architectures"

We received 32 master’s thesis from 7 different countries (Brasil: 21, Mexico: 3, Argentina: 2, Chile: 2, Colombia: 2, Cuba: 1 and Venezuela: 1).
